Kennedy Royalty

Day 5: the day I became royalty. And a Kennedy.

OK, obviously not really. But it was worth dreaming about. (Prince Harry, you know where to find me.)

Constantly on-the-go, we traveled from White's Hotel in Wexford, to the Kennedy Homestead, Dunbrody and Waterford Castle Hotel.

The Kennedy Homestead greeted us with the man who made the place a real attraction. He was a third cousin once removed form President JFK. JFK visited thee homestead to see where his anscestors built their roots. Ever since then Anne after he ran and won thee presidency, the place became the go-to place for many people.

The man's family never got any privacy, though the homestead was still a working farm. He then ran it as a tourist location before working with the Irish government to preserve the history and make it s destination.

There were some very cool relics here, as everything is in the exact location as it was when the first Kennedys lived there.

Next stop was Dunbrody. It's a very small town, in which we had a very short time in. There was a JFK memorial there, though.

After we were done in Dunbrody (haha get it? Sorry, I make corny jokes and then laugh at myself. Get used to it.) we went to our hotel. A castle.

That one. That's part of the castle, anyway.

Kayla and I took a walk around the castle grounds. The castle is located on an island, so we had to take a ferry across. My first time riding a ferry! Not too special. It was only about 1/17 of a mile to get the other side. (That fraction might not be accurate.) ;)

After strolling the land we settled down for an emacculate three-course meal. It was seriously amazing! Every day end well when there's good food. :)

Cheers,

Kelli
